Project: Save the Pets! helps prevent pets from being harmed accidentally by you, your friends, or environmental hazards. It can block direct attacks, explosions, projectiles, and sweeping damage from players, and server settings can also protect pets from explosions, sweet berry bushes, fire or lava, powder-snow freezing, and drowning. Friend whitelists and vanilla teams can extend protection to selected players and their pets, while optional player protection can prevent harm to whitelisted players as well. On servers, a pet that dies drops a note that can be used on a copper block or another configured block to revive it, consuming the block in the process. Server-side features also let players transfer ownership of eligible pets with a stick or configured item, or remove a pet's ownership with shears or another configured item. Most protections and interactions can be configured, including which environmental damage is blocked and which items or blocks are used for transferring, untaming, and revival. The mod can run on a client or server independently, though the full feature set is available when it is installed on the server; Forge, Fabric, and Quilt versions share the same features and configuration.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files and images and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
