Project: War Dance reshapes Minecraft combat with mechanics for active defense, movement, weapon techniques, and build customization. Combat revolves around posture, a separate measure of stability that attacks wear down; breaking an opponent’s posture can stagger or knock them down, opening them to follow-up damage, while health and armor influence how the fight unfolds. Players can block and parry with weapons or shields, with parries reflecting damage and applying posture pressure; shields can also defend against projectiles, which may be blocked or sent back to their shooter. Combat mode supports dual wielding and changes attacks according to movement and stance, including sprinting, falling, aerial, guard-counter, thrown-weapon, and draw attacks. Dodges offer brief protection from melee and projectile attacks, while a sprint-and-sneak slide moves forward in a low posture that can fit through crawl spaces. Armor has distinct gameplay effects: light armor favors posture recovery and stealth, medium armor raises maximum posture, and heavy armor supports greater resistance to fractures at the cost of slower recovery. Players configure combat skills through a selection screen, with active and passive slots, a style slot, and skills grouped by colors such as dominance, resolution, subterfuge, fervor, perception, and decay. Building style through varied attacks and kills raises one of seven ranks, improving movement, attack speed, and recovery; high ranks also add a looting bonus, while adrenaline fuels powerful burst skills. Weapons have context-sensitive movesets, with different attacks available while standing, sprinting, falling, airborne, guarding, or drawing a weapon; a seven-slot quiver lets players organize and quickly cycle through weapons. The mod also provides built-in combat values for a broad range of other mods, including Alex’s Mobs, Ars Nouveau, Create, Ice and Fire, Mowzie’s Mobs, Simply Swords, Twilight Forest, and Vampirism.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and sounds and found none.
We have not read its code history yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
