    About

    RandomPatches is a configurable collection of Minecraft bug fixes and quality-of-life patches, designed to address hardcoded settings and everyday problems without significantly changing game mechanics. It lets players and server administrators adjust connection and login timeouts, KeepAlive timing, packet-size limits, and maximum movement speeds for players, elytra, and vehicles. Configurable boat options include buoyancy in flowing water and the delay before underwater passengers are ejected, while fixes also address entities clipping into walls after reloading, duplicate entity UUIDs, animal breeding hearts, and recipe-book handling of tagged ingredients. Other fixes let mobs cross rails, correct boat fall damage, make water in cauldrons render translucent, allow Riptide and Conduit Power effects in water-filled cauldrons, and correct end portal rendering, villager and witch robe textures, and disappearing player models. Client-side options include configurable controls for narrator, pause, GUI and debug toggles, sprinting and dismounting; customizable window titles and icons; bamboo rendering optimization; and settings for potion glint, experimental-world warnings, framerate slider increments, and returning to the main menu after disconnecting. The mod is standalone and aims to work when installed on either a client or a server without requiring the other side to have it, and it automatically disables features implemented by other mods where possible.
