Build a skyblock island and advance through different ages of technology.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 162 graded mods, 61 are graded A or B, 22 C and 79 D to F. Its last update came out 4.6 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Sky FABRICation is a Fabric skyblock modpack built around quest-guided progression through several technological ages, with custom recipes and resource-gathering mechanics that do not rely on Ex Nihilo. You begin by building an island, making dirt and stone, and setting up water, a cobblestone generator, and a mob farm; early milestones lead to iron, lava production, and a Nether portal. In the Mechanical Age, windmills and waterworks provide mechanical power, while a grinder and upgraded cobblestone funnel help process ores and access additional raw materials. The Steam Age advances toward industry and electrical power, followed by an Electricity Age that opens access to broad technology options, including ME storage systems and automation. Later progression takes you into other dimensions and to the moon, with a long journey required before reaching the End. Seasonal changes affect farming and resources: some plants cannot grow in winter, while winter can provide snow and ice.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Fabric, 2 Mar 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 9 Feb 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 176 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 176 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 114 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
62 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
