Refined Advancements reshapes Minecraft’s advancement progression to make its goals connect more clearly, while adding optional goals and challenges across the advancement tabs. The Minecraft tab adds progression milestones such as crafting a table and diamond pickaxe, finding an ender pearl, entering the deepslate cave layer, reaching level 30, encountering phantoms, and defeating the Ender Dragon. Additional goals cover exploration and resources, including finding all overworld ores, locating an amethyst geode or Ancient City, looting structure and buried-treasure chests, finding a monster spawner, and obtaining a netherite ingot or shulker box. Other advancements reward specific activities such as using a conduit or sponge, trading for mending, planting crops, using a goat horn, and performing stunts like a bucket clutch or riding a mount on a 5,000-block journey and returning home. Challenge advancements include fully enchanting armor, completing a bucket clutch from 60 blocks, killing ten mobs while airborne on an elytra, obtaining all wool colors or wood logs, and reaching above the Nether roof. Combat-related advancements move from the Adventure tab into a dedicated Combat tab, and the Minecraft tab’s root advancement is granted upon entering a world rather than after collecting wood. The project also reorders advancement parents and progression, changes hidden advancement descriptions to aqua text, and makes the Allay and Sniffer advancements visible. When a player defeats the Ender Dragon, nearby players within 128 blocks of the player who delivered the defeat also receive the advancement.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 48 advancements.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Replaces 28 of vanilla Minecraft's advancements.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
