A lightweight modpack that improves performance while keeping the vanilla feel.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 70 graded mods, 68 are graded A or B, 1 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 5 weeks ago, for Minecraft 26.2. See the mods
Starlight is a lightweight Fabric modpack that keeps Minecraft close to its vanilla feel while emphasizing performance, technical play, and restrained quality-of-life improvements. Its performance-focused selection includes Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, and C2ME, alongside tools for builders and technical players such as Litematica, Carpet, MiniHUD, WorldEdit, and Tweakeroo. Map and world-map views, inventory and tooltip helpers, HUD options, and other small interface conveniences make common information easier to access without changing the pack into a heavily modded experience. The visual style includes a dark-blue interface, a smaller totem, purple hearts, golden-carrot hunger icons, and a rainbow experience bar.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric, 19 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 19 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 70 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 62 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 62 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
