About
Renice Shot is a client-side Fabric mod that captures high-resolution Minecraft screenshots by temporarily rendering the game at a configured resolution and then restoring the original resolution automatically. It defaults to 3840 × 2160 resolution, and lets you set custom dimensions, choose PNG, JPG, TGA or BMP output, hide the HUD during capture, add a capture delay, and customize filenames with the world and time variables. You can optionally use it for ordinary screenshots or screenshots requested through the screenshot API; multiple requests are processed in order, and the mod saves images in Minecraft’s screenshots folder with a huge_ prefix by default. If a capture fails, Renice Shot restores the resolution and HUD, removes unfinished files, and reports the error in-game and in the log.
