    About

    Schools of Magic adds a magic-focused adventure in which players explore for spellbooks, herbs, gems, and creatures, then demonstrate their skills to earn guidance toward becoming a magician. Players learn or discover spells through books and the spell forge, organize them in a customizable grimoire, and cast them with a wand using mana and materials; spells span six schools, from damaging Evocation and protective Abjuration to deceptive Illusion, and 16 magical elements. The mod adds an Arcane Cauldron for brewing potions with multiple effects, along with crops, ores, armor and tools, traps, and useful constructs such as player-activated obsidian pressure plates, spear traps, water-free planters, and a potion bag. Exploration includes 16 magician structures, new biomes, and a boss monster, while the showcased content also includes the Labyrinth biome, magical plants and gems, and creatures such as a unicorn and phoenix.
