Explore a new dimension through ancient cities in the deep dark.
57.6 of the 64 points that apply = 90 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Sculk Depths adds a separate dimension with its own ecosystem, intended to feel like a world beyond the Deep Dark rather than a place made only of sculk. To reach it, players find an ancient city, obtain Energy Essence by having a Warden kill a passive mob or by killing the Warden, and use an Energized Flint and Steel to light the portal after clearing sculk veins from the reinforced deepslate at the city’s center. The dimension includes four biomes: Cephlera Caves, Sculk Caves, Dried Forest, and Petrified Forest, as well as a Laboratory and an underground lab. Its three named mobs include the Glomper, which attacks players flying with an elytra, and Lester, which can startle players mining Quazarith; the project also adds new blocks, block sets, and items. The project is currently on hold because its team lacks the artists and experienced modders needed to realize its vision.

Counted from the files of the mod. Content made only in its code is not counted.
Replaces 11 of vanilla Minecraft's core shaders, 3 structures and 1 loot table.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends usage statistics
Sent to api.fstats.dev.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
The author declares on Modrinth that it sends crash reports or usage data unless you turn this off.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
One weak clue: a branch is named like those Claude Code creates. It does not show that the tool was used.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
