Our Story: Earth is an exploration and survival modpack that expands the familiar Minecraft sandbox into a large world of varied landscapes, optional goals, and adventures for solo players or friends. Its Overworld features larger continents, dramatic mountains, deep valleys, volcanic regions, colourful forests, wetlands, expanded caves, and seasonal changes, while the Nether and End gain transformed terrain, structures, and further reasons to explore. Exploration can uncover abandoned camps, villages, taverns, towers, capitals, castles, underground ruins, temples, strongholds, ocean settlements, and enormous dungeons, with some sites offering shelter or loot and others guarded by hostile creatures. More than 130 optional custom quests offer guidance through early survival, resource gathering, agriculture, wealth, Nether exploration, and progression around mythical metals, without requiring players to follow a fixed questline. Dangerous ruins, underground complexes, elite enemies, and bosses make preparation and combat part of the journey; reaching the End also involves exploration across environments and structures, and its transformed terrain and larger structures lead to a more dangerous dragon encounter. New ores and mythical metals extend equipment progression beyond iron, diamond, and Netherite, while weapons, shields, armour, accessories, and artifacts can be crafted, discovered, or earned from powerful enemies; artifacts can offer abilities for movement, survival, mining, or combat. For players who prefer settling in, the pack adds furniture, roofs, bridges, windows, doors, lighting, paths, walls, and decorative blocks, alongside expanded farming and cooking with new crops, ingredients, fish, and meals. Seasons, falling leaves, changing weather, ambient sounds, wildlife, creature variants, named villagers, guards, and improved trading tools help make the world and its settlements feel more alive. Optional shaders and visual resource packs, improved animations, cave echoes, ambient audio, particles, seasonal effects, and enhanced interfaces offer additional atmosphere and clearer gameplay information. Exploration and long-term play are supported by mapping and location markers, travel between established destinations, expandable backpacks, item recovery after death, storage organisation, recipe and loot viewing, and tools for comparing equipment. In multiplayer, teams can claim and protect territory, use proximity voice chat, establish shops, and share structure loot through systems that let different players explore the same locations; administration, backup, and performance tools also support persistent community servers.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21 · Fabric, 3 Mar 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
10 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 13 Feb 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 446 of its 447 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
16 mods send something about you
We read the code of 430 of its 432 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 37 of the 375 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
57 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
