Adds additional materials for constructing tools.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Silent's Gems: Extra Parts expands Silent's Gems' modular tool system with additional materials for tool parts, which can be combined with gem parts as long as the materials are of the same tier. Its built-in vanilla-like options include polished wood in oak, birch, spruce, jungle, dark oak, acacia, and generic varieties, plus polished stone; both are slightly better than their ordinary early-game counterparts. More unusual parts include reinforced obsidian, with exceptionally high durability but weak other stats, and crystallized chaos essence, which has strong stats but low durability and is costly to craft. The metal selection ranges from mundane copper, tin, nickel, and zinc to regular metals such as silver, aluminium, bronze, steel, and invar, and super-tier choices including platinum, titanium, enderium, and prismarinium. Some metals are especially suited to particular uses: enderium offers strong mining and melee performance, while prismarinium combines strong mining and magic damage with high protection. When the corresponding mods are installed, Extra Parts also adds materials from Botania, Calculator, Cavern, Ebon Arts, and Netherrocks, including Botania's manasteel, elementium, and terrasteel; Cavern's magnite and hexcite; and Netherrocks' fyrite, dragonstone, and argonite. The metal parts are supplied by Extra Parts but are not normally obtainable on their own, so making tools from metals such as bronze requires another mod to provide the ingots and register them for material matching.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.9 to 1.12.2.
Adds 10 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.9 to 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.9 to 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
