Sledgehammer is a configurable patch mod that uses SpongePowered Mixin to address bugs, compatibility problems, and exploits in Minecraft and Forge mods, with support for Forge, SpongeForge, and SpongeVanilla. Its client and shared fixes include speeding up server connections by disabling SearchTree reloading, allowing longer WorldType names, preventing crashes from invalid translation keys, and making LazyLoad thread-safe. On servers, it addresses advancement errors and reloads, biome lookup crashes, unwanted grass and ice changes, weather interference from Totemic, network usage, shutdown deadlocks, and concurrent player-chunk map changes. For chunk-save failures, it alerts players, removes entities, tile entities, and blacklisted items from the affected chunks, then creates a crash report and safely stops the server. It also blocks or removes items attempting to teleport between dimensions, limits books to 50 pages of 255 characters each, and fixes several packet-related exploits, including a player-kick exploit and an item-spawn exploit involving ProjectRed. Additional Sponge-specific fixes include enforcing permission checks for OP commands, addressing Misty World portal issues, and preventing movement beyond the world border and blank death messages.

No harmful code found

We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
