    About

    SurvivalPlus Lightsabers adds Star Wars-inspired lightsabers to Minecraft as an add-on that requires SurvivalPlus. It includes red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and white lightsabers, as well as the harder-to-obtain Darksaber; the weapons have different damage values and the Darksaber has its own sounds. Lightsabers can be activated and deactivated, used to block attacks, and put to practical uses such as igniting TNT, cooking food dropped by killed entities, drying sponges, and lighting campfires and candles. The mod adds village Temple Huts containing either Jedi or Sith villagers, including Obi-Wan and Darth Maul, who are involved in obtaining lightsabers through trading in some crafting systems. Crafting methods vary, using trades in older versions, shapeless recipes in others, or a smithing table with a lightsaber hilt and matching crystal in newer versions; Galacticraft and IndustrialCraft contribute recipe components in some versions. Players can configure lightsaber attack damage and speed, and the models are designed to work with OptiFine.
