Better MC [FABRIC] BMC1 is a vanilla-plus modpack that expands exploration, building, and progression with more than 250 mods and over 100 quests. It overhauls world generation with biomes from Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Geophilic, and Ecologics, including redwood forests, and adds five dimensions, such as an Aether-themed realm and an expanded End to explore. Explorers can encounter hundreds of dungeons and structures, including illager castles and revamped small dungeons, alongside new bosses and mobs from AdventureZ, Bosses of Mass Destruction, and Naturalist. The pack also includes rideable dragons, new crops and foods, and a broad selection of building blocks for constructing and decorating bases. Waystones, XP Obelisks, and Xaero's Minimap provide navigation and other quality-of-life features, while built-in free world sharing lets players share their worlds. Shader support and optimization features round out the pack.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Fabric, 20 Nov 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
4 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 16 Jul 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 291 of its 293 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of 264 of its 266 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 28 of the 200 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
66 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
