Tinkers' Evolution is a Tinkers' Construct addon that expands tool and armor customization by integrating materials and mechanics from other mods, aiming for more varied builds than a single obvious material choice. Its integrations include materials from Applied Energistics 2, Astral Sorcery, Botania, Thaumcraft, Thermal Series, Mekanism, Natura, and Project: E, among others. Some integrations change how equipment works: Astral Sorcery materials can gain constellation-based modifiers through alignment, Draconic Evolution tools use energy and can be upgraded with fusion crafting, and Blood Magic materials can draw on Life Essence for effects such as self-repair or damage negation. Other examples include Botania traits that interact with mana, Forestry's fertilizing apatite and bee-protective armor modifier, and Thaumcraft infusion enchantments for Tinkers' equipment. The addon also adds sceptres that can strike at close range or fire volleys of projectiles, independent tool modifiers, and artifacts found in loot chests that cannot be repaired. Its Fluxed modifier lets tools use energy supplied by a battery, while Photovoltaic lets energized tools recharge in sunlight. Configurable tweaks include a multiplier for melting speeds in heat-based devices and an option to disable Tinkers' Construct's tool damage cap.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Adds 10 blocks, 54 items, 48 recipes and 8 sounds.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.12.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
