About
Tinker's Forging adds TerraFirmaCraft-style forging to Minecraft, letting players heat items and shape them at an anvil. The process centers on a Tinker's Anvil and hammers: heat ingots in a charcoal forge or brick forge until workable, then strike them according to forging rules to form items. The mod includes hammers made from a range of modded metals, and its anvil can forge Tinker's Construct tool parts and Construct's Armory armor parts when those integrations are enabled. It also integrates with JEI to view anvil recipes and CraftTweaker to add or remove recipes and define which items can be heated. When Patchouli is installed, a dynamically generated in-game guidebook explains the system.
