About
Vanilla Backport Compat brings Vanilla Backport content into modded biomes, so features such as leaf litter can appear beyond the vanilla biomes where they already generate. It adds natural generation of leaf litter, wildflowers, bushes and firefly bushes, plus fallen oak, birch and spruce trees, and tall and short dry grass; leaf litter also appears in the Pale Garden. The mod adds falling-leaf and falling-needle particles to supported modded trees, with leaf particles colored to match supported leaf blocks. Biome-specific additions include camels in Lush Deserts, armadillos in Flowering Savannas, firefly bushes in Marshes, and region-appropriate wolf and warm- or cold-climate animal variants. It also adds desert ambient sounds, works with Snow! Real Magic!, and includes sulfur-cube compatibility for blocks from supported biome mods. For example, its biome compatibility includes Biomes O' Plenty, Biomes We've Gone, Regions Unexplored, Atmospheric, Terralith, Environmental, Upgrade Aquatic, Nature's Spirit, Wilderness, Twilight Forest and Better Nether. With Farmer's Delight installed, its compatibility lets blue and brown eggs be cooked into fried eggs using a furnace, smoker, campfire or fryer.
