About
CaveColonies is a Minecolonies-focused Stoneblock modpack about building an underground city in a dimension made entirely of stone, from bedrock to the top of the world. You begin in a small opening and follow a questbook that guides you through surviving and using the pack’s main mods, then work toward developing your colony without technology-focused progression. Minecolonies lets you establish a town with NPC workers such as builders, farmers, miners, lumberjacks, guards, bakers, and cooks, supported by buildings including a town hall, warehouse, barracks, library, and citizen huts. The pack adds custom configurations and recipes, along with distinctive dwarven-style schematics designed for its underground setting. Its supporting content includes Ex Nihilo, Tinkers’ Construct and Tinkers’ Complement, Pam’s HarvestCraft, Chisels & Bits, and LittleTiles, with gallery examples including a tree farm, combat academy, archery area, and town-hall fountain.
