Create: Above and Beyond is a technology-focused modpack that guides players through an ambitious factory-building journey toward space travel and a mission to reach the moon. Its progression links roughly fifty inventions and thousands of components, with players automating increasingly complex production lines and sending finished products to a Data Centre to program their spaceship’s Guidance computer. Factory challenges include conveyor systems, crystal mixing and washing, controlled explosions, colour shifting, lasers, and number-crunching, while alchemical research and transmutation can reveal secret recipes tied to the world’s generation seed. Players can earn coins through professions or errands, then use the trading system to buy resources, artifacts, and building blocks instead of gathering everything themselves; produce can also be shipped automatically, and trading supports automation. The pack adds exclusive blocks, items, and fluids, along with custom scripts that create new interactions between machines and materials. It also changes the look and feel of Ender Storage, Advanced Rocketry, Pretty Pipes, Pipez, Metal Barrels, and Water Strainer, and uses custom assets styled to fit mods such as Create, Thermal, Supplementaries, Applied Energistics 2, and Chisel.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 30 Aug 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 16 May 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 55 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 52 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
3 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
