Play through early versions with new tools, blocks, and adventures.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 112 graded mods, 75 are graded A or B, 17 C and 20 D to F. Its last update came out 17 months ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
DB3K expands on the feel and features of Minecraft’s developmental versions from Classic through Alpha 1.1, drawing especially on the Seecret Friday Update era without trying to recreate any one version exactly. Its handpicked additions reshape progression: copper tools extend the early game, while gold becomes a tool tier between iron and diamond and can yield extra resources when mining. The pack also revises world generation and survival details, including rarer mycelium patches in caves, fewer completely flooded caves, more frequent clay and cactus, and seasonal weather and snow behavior. Further changes add or adjust distinctive items and interactions, such as player-triggered iron pressure plates, slimeball uses for building, throwable bombs and chalices, and silver swords that deal increased damage to undead mobs. Visual and atmospheric touches include updated textures, bushier reeds, more accurate footsteps, mild hit particles, and additional splash texts.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 16 May 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 15 May 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 116 of its 118 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 116 of its 118 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 13 of the 92 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
26 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
