Mobs mine, climb, and chase you with smarter moves.
64.9 of the 71 points that apply = 91 out of 100. The points above are rounded to whole numbers.
Enhanced AI reworks mob behavior to make encounters less predictable and more challenging, while allowing players and pack makers to tune its features for a milder or harsher experience. Mobs can gain stronger tracking, including sensing targets through walls, avoid creeper and TNT blasts, climb ladders and vines, open doors, and break out of boats or minecarts that trap them. Some zombies can mine through blocks toward a target, reel players in with fishing rods, or use ender pearls to close the distance; the default setup equips zombies for the latter two behaviors and gives miners stone pickaxes. Creepers may breach walls, keep moving as they swell, or launch themselves at targets, while skeletons and pillagers can adjust their shooting and flee while attacking. Other mob-specific changes include silverfish calling reinforcements when hurt, spiders throwing slowing webs, blazes varying their fireball attacks, and witches using more varied potion tactics or performing dark arts that transform villagers into witches. Animal behavior can also change: some animals flee from players or fight back, and nearby animals of the same type may respond when one is attacked; villagers can turn hostile toward players with sufficiently low reputation. The mod also alters combat and movement through features such as biting back, disarming targets, fleeing from the Warden, and allowing some mobs to ride others, with many behaviors and eligible mobs configurable. By default, its AI changes target vanilla mobs; entity-type tags can be used to try to extend features to modded mobs, though their behavior may not work properly.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 2 areas: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 27 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act. and Rendering and graphicsChanges 1 game code file in this area: drawing mobs, items, particles and textures on screen..
Adds 5 sounds: Creeper Cena Explode, Creeper Cena Fuse, Old Explode, Wtf Boom Explode and Wtf Boom Fuse; 1 loot table.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
Claude Code is named in the files of its repository.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
CLAUDE.mdPossible signThe tool was seen around the project. This does not show that it was used to make the files you download.: Claude Code files listed in its ignore list .claudePoint at or tap a version to see its loaders.
These projects do not work together with Enhanced AI: their authors or Enhanced AI's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as Enhanced AI, so you only need one.

The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 12 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 2 points.
