InsaneLib is a library mod that supplies shared classes and utilities for Insane’s mods, while also providing configurable gameplay features and data-driven tools for modders and datapack authors. For players, it can pause the day, game time, and weather while no one is online, and also pause seasonal cycling when Serene Seasons is installed; it is compatible with Time Control. Its gameplay features include spherical area-effect clouds, a tag that can make an entity’s explosion cause fire, and fixes for MC-145656, leader zombies’ ineffective bonus-health modifier, and jumping forward while strong slowness prevents movement. Modders can organize functionality into modules and individually configurable features, with JSON-backed features and utilities for logging, random operations, and enum lookup. Data packs can use its item-component overrides to change or remove item properties such as damage, durability, food, enchantability, and knockback, as well as attributes that affect push resistance or how far entities detect one another. It also extends data-pack customization with extra loot conditions, loot functions and modifiers, loot-pool injections, and advancement triggers, including tools for selecting enchantments, replacing generated loot, and triggering an advancement when a player breaks a tagged block.

Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files without running them.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.

We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
Claude Code is named in the files of its repository.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

In the last 2 years, 39 releases needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This lowers the grade by 6 points.
