Mods that polish the look and feel of your vanilla world.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 73 graded mods, 61 are graded A or B, 9 C and 3 D to F. Its last update came out 22 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21. See the mods
DB's Minecraft REFINED is a mostly client-side modpack designed to polish vanilla Minecraft rather than substantially change its gameplay. It improves performance across areas including world generation, entity culling, memory use, and text rendering, while adding animated inventory interactions and smoother item movement and scrolling. Blooming Biosphere enriches existing biomes and adds new ones without introducing blocks or items, with features such as fallen logs and taller trees in forests and bushes in plains. Explorify adds vanilla-style structures including campsites, dark forest settlements, and taverns. Visual and environmental details include more natural rain and snow, water ripples, humid-biome ground fog, and desert dust storms, as well as 3D crops, ladders, doors, vines, glow lichen, rails, lanterns, and chains. Resource packs add variations in flower appearance and grass height, while other additions include water wakes behind boats, mobs, and players, and enhanced advancement and enchanted-item displays.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21 · Fabric, 4 Jan 2025). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 28 Dec 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 74 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 63 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 63 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
