An in-game map editor for building and changing your world.

WorldEdit is an in-game map editor for quickly building, reshaping, and repairing Minecraft worlds, in creative or survival and on single-player worlds or servers. Select regions to create, replace, or remove large numbers of blocks at once, generate shapes such as spheres and cylinders, and copy, paste, save, or load areas as schematics. Commands and clickable tools let you terraform with brushes, carve mountains and ravines, generate trees, replace blocks, and place or remove blocks from a distance. Patterns control which blocks an edit places, while masks restrict which existing blocks it affects, enabling targeted operations such as replacing selected block types or working only on non-air blocks. WorldEdit also supports mathematical expressions for terrain generation, region restoration from backups, and JavaScript CraftScripts for automating world-editing tasks.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 4 areas, as a library other mods build on: Networking and multiplayerChanges 2 game code files in this area: connections, the server list and what is sent between your game and a server., Chunk loading and storageChanges 2 game code files in this area: how the game loads, tracks, saves and unloads chunks., Server and world logicChanges 1 game code file in this area: the world, commands, scoreboards, saved data and game rules. and PlayerChanges 1 game code file in this area: your character: movement, abilities, hunger and controls..
Libraries packed inside it change 54 more game code files: parts of
Fabric API.
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
Sends usage statistics and unknown data
Sent to bstats.org and an address built while the game runs.
Only some of its files send usage statistics and unknown data.
We found this in its code, read without running it.
The author declares on Modrinth that it sends crash reports or usage data unless you turn this off.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

16,812 modpacks include WorldEdit in at least one of their versions. Here are the 30 most downloaded.
Mods that modpacks often add together with WorldEdit. Share: how many of the modpacks with WorldEdit also have that mod.
The newest file for each Minecraft version and loader. The files for recent versions come first. Recent versions: those released in the last 2 years, plus 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, among the most played in modpacks.
In the last 2 years, 1 release needed a quick fix: a new release within 3 days to fix a problem. This counts in the grade, but it is too few to lose points.
