Fabric modpack with Optifine's features.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 19 graded mods, 16 are graded A or B, 2 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 5 years ago, for Minecraft 1.17.1. See the mods
Fabric's Optifine is a Fabric modpack that brings together many Optifine-like visual features and quality-of-life options with a focus on better performance. Sodium provides the main performance boost, while Iris adds shader support and Resolution Control lets players adjust the game's render resolution. Visual additions include dynamic light from held or thrown items such as torches, connected textures through Continuity, grass on block sides through Lambda Better Grass, zoom, and capes. Other optimizations target world updates, chunk loading, world generation, lighting, memory use, networking, entity rendering, and block rendering, with mods including Lithium, Starlight, Ferrite Core, Hydrogen, Krypton, Entity Culling, and Enhanced Block Entities. For easier configuration, the pack includes a mod menu, Cloth Config, and improved Sodium video settings and options.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.17.1 · Fabric, 19 Oct 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 24 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 24 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 23 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
