A pack that improves game performance and adds custom menus.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 42 graded mods, 41 are graded A or B, 0 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 9 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.11. See the mods
FPS/Performance/QoL Butterium is a client-style modpack that combines performance optimization with quality-of-life and gameplay features, aiming to keep Minecraft running smoothly while avoiding a maze of configuration screens. Its ButterUI, built around FancyMenu, gives the pack custom menus and redesigned settings screens, with options to change the accent color and background and extensive customization for advanced users. The interface includes optional modern or classic title screens, a pause menu, settings and quick-settings windows, and a mouse-responsive parallax background; menu elements are designed to remain usable in a small window. Players can enable a movable HUD with keystrokes, coordinates, time, and armor information, and the pack also includes armor and tool durability notifications. Additional integrated features include freecam, fullbright, version switching or spoofing, account switching, resource- and shader-pack browsing, and voice chat, making the pack useful for both general play and multiplayer.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.11 · Fabric, 26 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Jan 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 43 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 41 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 41 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
