An adventure modpack about exploring strange dimensions and completing quests.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 81 graded mods, 26 are graded A or B, 18 C and 37 D to F. Its last update came out 6.2 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Material Energy^5: Entity is an adventure modpack that pairs a modpack with a quest-driven map, sending players through distinct, challenging rooms loaded from an Applied Energistics system to gather unique resources, complete quests, build a monument, and reach a final goal. Its story begins with a space station charged with holding reality together issuing a distress call that the universe is missing; players return to the AI-run facility to investigate a catastrophe threatening time, space, and the worlds they know. The adventure leads through strange lands and alternate dimensions, where players collect legendary objects and build machines capable of bending reality before confronting their deepest fears. Quests guide progression and can offer help when players are stuck, while the challenging experience is balanced for two to three players on normal difficulty and includes the expectation of dying and recovering along the way.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 4 Aug 2020). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 28 Jul 2020 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked all 86 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 86 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 6 of the 45 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
41 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
