A Story Mode-inspired pack with armor, new animations, and the Wither Storm.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 23 graded mods, 18 are graded A or B, 3 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 3.5 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.3. See the mods
MC Story Mode Remastered is a modpack that recreates Minecraft: Story Mode with Story Mode-themed mods and resource packs. Its additions include Story Mode armor, which can be found in chests or obtained through villager trades and grants night vision and blast resistance when worn as a full set. Players can place items directly on crafting tables, chests, furnaces, anvils, and brewing stands without opening their interfaces, and use proximity voice chat with cave reverberation. New player animations include crawling, falling, eating, and holding items such as torches and compasses, while mobs also receive new animations. The Wither Storm grows over time until it destroys the world, while the rare Eversource lays every kind of spawn egg, including its own; the Eversource is disabled in one version for repairs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.3 · Forge, 11 May 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 19 Apr 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 23 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 20 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 19 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
