Programmer Art Fix is a patch for Minecraft’s built-in Programmer Art resource pack, intended to correct texture and model issues while bringing newer game content into the classic visual style. It covers a broad range of blocks, including copper and deepslate variants, blackstone, tuff, mangrove and cherry wood sets, trial spawners, vaults, and newer additions such as sulfur and cinnabar blocks. Items receive matching classic-style textures as well, from fish, kelp, and music discs to netherite and copper equipment, trial keys, spears, horse armor, and boats or rafts. The patch also reworks many creatures and their variants, including villagers, piglins, wolves, bogged, creaking, copper golems, happy ghasts, and numerous baby mobs; some baby designs adjust features such as eye placement and classic pixel-style eyes. Additional fixes and details include entity equipment, paintings, inventory and menu graphics, mob-effect icons, map markers, particles, and models for items and blocks such as the redstone torch, brewing stand, and dragon egg. Use it above Programmer Art in the resource-pack order for the patch to work correctly.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
Changes 382 block textures, 245 item textures, 255 mob and entity textures, 36 armor textures, 51 interface textures, 25 particle textures, 39 models and 43 other files.
Adds 12 mob and entity textures, 9 armor trim textures, 3 particle textures and 5 map textures.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32. 23 block and item textures are animated.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files and images and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
