A small, simple modpack to make your game look good while not damaging your FPS.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 99 graded mods, 97 are graded A or B, 2 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 7 months ago, for Minecraft 1.21.8. See the mods
Pixel Perfect is a client-side visual pack designed to refresh Minecraft’s appearance while keeping gameplay intact and offering settings suited to different levels of hardware. Its shader offers Vanilla+, Vanilla++, and Vanilla+++ presets, along with extensive controls for effects such as contrast, wind, and color grading. Wind moves foliage in directional gusts whose speed, direction, and intensity respond to weather, with separate wind profiles for different dimensions. Visual touches include dynamic lighting, reflective water, colored lighting and glowing ores, improved rainy skies and fog, lightning that illuminates clouds, and grass that bends underfoot. The pack also offers darkness options including Hardcore Darkness and Streamer Mode, and its client-side design lets players join servers without changing other players’ experience.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.8 · Fabric, 28 Mar 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 99 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 83 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 83 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and code history and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
One weak clue: a branch is named like those GitHub Copilot creates. It does not show that the tool was used.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
