A modpack that helps your game run faster and more reliably.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 38 graded mods, 38 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 3 months ago, for Minecraft 26.2. See the mods
Plutonium is a performance-focused Minecraft modpack designed to improve frame rates, fix bugs, and make gameplay more stable, with pre-optimized settings and a modular, customizable approach that avoids unnecessary additions. Players can choose a Stable edition for broad mod compatibility and long-term play, a Rolling Release edition for early optimization updates, a Vulkan edition that uses a Vulkan rendering pipeline for potential performance gains at the cost of compatibility, or a 1.12.2 LTS edition with performance fixes and support for modern Java through Cleanroom. The pack is tested across Linux, Windows, and macOS, and its stability checks include repeatedly generating and loading worlds with varied seeds, terrain, and rendering settings while checking for errors and performance regressions. A companion wiki provides optional guidance for tailoring graphics and Sodium settings, including choices for render distance, animations, particles, and visual details, as well as broader operating-system and hardware optimization advice.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric, 29 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 7 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 39 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 38 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 38 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
