A tough survival adventure with monsters, dungeons, and deadly bosses.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 167 graded mods, 100 are graded A or B, 46 C and 21 D to F. Its last update came out today, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
RLCraft Fanmade is a fan-made hardcore survival modpack built around a hostile world where exploration, resourcefulness, and combat are constant challenges. Players contend with heat and cold, thirst, random spawning without coordinates, realistic torches and lighting, tougher vanilla mobs, and XP-locked items, alongside realistic sounds and movement. Exploration leads through frequent Battle Towers and other classic RLCraft structures, with multi-floor dungeons, spawners, scaling loot, and Tower Golems; the especially punishing Mega Tower is crowded with witches and guarded by a buffed golem. Locked chests and lockpicking, dungeon loot with random affixes, relics and enhancements, and new weapons and orbs add equipment and reward systems to the survival loop. Bosses have stronger stats and new combinations, while Bloodmoon events and revamped body-part health make encounters more dangerous. The pack also adds high-risk survival equipment, including restorative medkits, passive rings that grant effects such as lifesteal, night vision, speed, or resistance, and late-game Dragon Eyes that protect against heat or cold.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 30 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 7 Aug 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 153 of its 163 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 124 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
39 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
