A hardcore survival pack set on islands in a monster-filled ocean.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 113 graded mods, 39 are graded A or B, 15 C and 59 D to F. Its last update came out 9 years ago, for Minecraft 1.10.2. See the mods
Sink Into Madness is a hardcore modded survival pack built around surviving in a world where flooding has left only small islands and structures in an endless ocean. Hostile creatures threaten the player, who must use the pack’s items and weapons to prepare for a series of boss battles. A quest book provides a starting guide and leads players through the bosses in order, with defeating them unlocking the game’s most powerful items. The pack is intended for single-player hardcore play, though players may choose to play it differently.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.10.2 · Forge, 8 Nov 2017). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 119 of its 120 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 118 of its 120 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 55 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
65 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
