About
Smart FPS is a client-side modpack intended to improve performance in vanilla and shader gameplay, while keeping the core Minecraft experience intact and remaining usable on servers. Built around Sodium rather than OptiFine, it includes performance mods such as Lithium and a group of additions that replace OptiFine features or provide quality-of-life enhancements. The pack includes Iris for shader support, along with mods such as Continuity, LambDynamicLights, LambdaBetterGrass, Logical Zoom, Sodium Extra, and Reese's Sodium Options. The performance gains depend on the player's system, and the pack is described as lightweight in its memory requirements.
