A Halloween modpack with spooky creatures, eerie worlds, and new adventures.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 40 graded mods, 21 are graded A or B, 3 C and 16 D to F. Its last update came out 4 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
SpookyJam 2022 Forge brings together community-made mods from the annual SpookyJam, a fall-themed mod jam, as a Halloween adventure. Its additions include curses and a lightning rod that transfers or removes them, cute owls, a lootable Crypt dungeon, animated paintings, bone-themed decorations, and a plant for brewing potions of darkness. The pack also adds the Soulblight Forest and Whistling Woods to the Nether, along with new structures, altered biome colors, and a spooky difficulty mode. Autumn-themed play includes villagers in costumes with candy and decorations, pumpkin carving, corn growing, and farmable pumpkins that provide resources. Other distinctive additions include a Pumpkillager-centered quest line, a talking magical oak tree, soul-powered machines and generators, and a scarecrow that boosts crops by day but becomes hostile at night. Wandering traders can fight back, adding another unexpected encounter to the collection of seasonal creatures and mechanics.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 11 Nov 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 2 Nov 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 42 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
1 mod sends something about you
We read the code of all 42 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 31 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
11 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
