    Open Loader lets modpacks and servers apply data packs and resource packs from shared, global locations across every save in a game instance, rather than copying those packs into individual worlds. Data packs can add recipes, loot tables, functions, and other game mechanics, including modded recipe systems; for example, a pack can define a shapeless recipe that turns dirt into nine diamonds. Resource packs can override or add textures, translations, sounds, tooltips, and other client-side resources. Both pack types can be loaded from folders or ZIP archives, and resource packs are applied after vanilla and modded resources; data-pack ordering can be adjusted separately for each world.
