A spooky modpack with eerie creatures, decorations, and friends.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 58 graded mods, 29 are graded A or B, 8 C and 21 D to F. Its last update came out 3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
SpookyJam 2023 is a modpack showcasing submissions from the 2023 SpookyJam mod jam alongside fan-favorite entries from earlier years, bringing together spooky, mysterious, and autumn-themed additions. Explore rundown villages inhabited by bloodthirsty cannibals, take on otherworldly threats such as flower mimics that reveal their monstrous form at night, and encounter additions including giants and a grim-reaper role. The pack also adds autumnal food and crafting content, including new berries and jams, apple-focused items, and a pumpkin-themed bomb that releases a cloud of trickery. For building and dressing up, it includes eerie decorations, carved pumpkin collectibles, costumes, and an ominous grandfather clock; bees can wear tradeable masks, while new bat variants and a befriending pumpkin creature add unusual companions. A Spookypedia is provided when you enter a world, offering an introductory guide to the pack’s submissions.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 8 Nov 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 6 Nov 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 61 of its 62 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 44 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
18 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
