A modpack for smoother gameplay and clearer visuals.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 27 graded mods, 27 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 2 days ago, for Minecraft 26.3. See the mods
Spunky Optimized is a lightweight Minecraft modpack focused on improving performance and smoothing gameplay while adding visual enhancements. Sodium, Lithium, and ImmediatelyFast target higher frame rates, reduced lag, and faster chunk loading, while More Culling, Dynamic FPS, and Entity Culling reduce unnecessary rendering and resource use. For visual changes, Iris adds shader support for lighting and shadows, while Enhanced Block Entities, 3D Skin Layers, and Model Gap Fix improve block or mob rendering and character animations. Memory Leak Fix and ModernFix address memory and stability issues, while FerriteCore and LazyDFU reduce memory use and Krypton optimizes networking. Players can adjust performance options with Sodium Extra and Reese's Sodium Options, configure settings through YACL and Cloth Config, use Zoomify for precision zoom, and collect experience orbs more simply with Clumps.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, 22 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 27 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 26 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 26 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
