A prototype modpack designed to test mods, fine-tune balance issues and learn.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 56 graded mods, 17 are graded A or B, 5 C and 34 D to F. Its last update came out 10.6 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Tectonic Spawning Pool is a modpack built for a Romanian modded Minecraft series, with a slightly harder, balanced progression through its technology and crafting systems. Progression begins with Tinkers’ Construct and Pam’s HarvestCraft, moves into BuildCraft, Railcraft and Forestry, then reaches Mekanism and Applied Energistics; Tinkers’ tools and weapons gain predictable modifiers and improved speed as they level up. Travel is deliberately grounded, with no fast-travel or item-teleportation methods, while the Mekanism jetpack and flying Mo’ Creatures provide the pack’s flight options. The pack offers four additional dimensions to explore: Twilight Forest, Runic Dungeons, Erebus and an End expanded by Hardcore Ender Expansion, in that recommended order. Mining scales from BuildCraft quarries to Mekanism’s Digital Miner, and food management is challenging enough that the pack recommends carrying six different foods in a Lunch Box for the best nutritional return.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 12 Mar 2016). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 24 Jan 2016 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 59 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 57 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 1 of the 22 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in it, or its author declared AI content.
35 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
