A steampunk survival adventure with ruins, steam power, and deadly dangers.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 53 graded mods, 9 are graded A or B, 5 C and 39 D to F. Its last update came out 10 years ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
TerraFirmaPunk combines TerraFirmaCraft’s demanding survival with steampunk technology, challenging players to endure hunger, thirst, dangerous terrain, hostile mobs, and boss monsters while exploring a ruined world. Exploration can lead to ancient ruins, dungeons, and caves, where deeper underground encounters become increasingly dangerous but can yield greater rewards for prepared explorers. Its rewritten questbook and reworked technology tree guide a more linear progression built around TerraFirmaCraft’s alloy tiers. Technology is tightly interconnected: crafting machines and technical recipes often depends on other machines, and some parts from outside TerraFirmaCraft, such as BuildCraft gears, can be made on TerraFirmaCraft anvils. Monsters have distinct behaviors and habitats to learn, while some biomes offer greater danger in exchange for greater rewards. The pack’s technology mods support factory-style production and automation as substantial end-game goals.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 12 Oct 2016). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
6 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 7 Aug 2016 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 57 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 57 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI tool in the 19 mods we checked, and no AI content is declared for them on Modrinth.
38 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
