A train murder mystery game with new roles and ways to play.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 50 graded mods, 41 are graded A or B, 9 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 3 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.21.1. See the mods
The Harpy Express: Extended expands The Last Voyage of the Harpy Express into a train-based social murder-mystery game, adding gameplay options and tools for customizing the WATHE game and its add-ons. Players board a custom train, and once at least six are aboard, the host starts a round by sounding the horn; players who stay off the train can spectate. The pack adds train-layout blocks, items and furniture, including extra color variants for Moquette, panels and steel ornaments, as well as plushies. Its added modifiers change how rounds play: Introverted alters mood drain according to nearby player numbers, Taxed reduces a killer’s kill income after repeated kills within a time window, and Adaptive rewards killers for varying their kill methods. Forbidden Lovers pairs a civilian or neutral player with a killer, and the pair wins by surviving together until the round ends. A limited Instinct mechanic replaces the unlimited version: its charge drains while active and regenerates when unused, making the ability a resource players must manage. An in-game configuration screen lets authorized users adjust game and add-on settings, edit map variables, enable or disable roles and modifiers, and save configuration presets. The in-game Guidebook describes roles, modifiers and items, and includes a guide to the game’s mechanics and features. The pack includes compatibility and gameplay adjustments for Noelle’s Roles, Stupid Express, Starry Express, Kin’s Wathe and Wathe Extra Items.
Written from Modrinth and the GitHub README . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 8 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 27 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 50 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 49 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 49 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 other mods show AI use only from after this release (8 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
