Just a few mods aimed at recreating the Hytale Trailer.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 38 graded mods, 14 are graded A or B, 5 C and 19 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
The Hytale Pack brings Minecraft closer to the look and gameplay of the Hytale trailer through a collection of mods, with PureBDCraft and Sildur’s Vibrant shaders recommended for the visual setup. Its content spans richer terrain and environments, including Biome Bundle, Open Terrain Generator, Streams, CoralReef and The Erebus, alongside wildlife such as Animania’s animals, Exotic Birds, Familiar Fauna and Just a Few Fish. For fantasy encounters and exploration, it includes Electroblob’s Wizardry, Ice and Fire, Millénaire and Mowzie’s Mobs, as well as JourneyMap, a grappling hook, rope bridges and ViesCraft airships. Visual and movement-oriented additions include Better Foliage, Dynamic Trees, Fancy Block Particles, Mo’ Bends, Blur, Sound Filters and Shoulder Surfing Reloaded; Tinkers’ Construct and Quark add further gameplay content.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 12 Apr 2019). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 30 Jan 2019 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 39 of its 40 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 38 of its 39 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (12 Apr 2019) in the 15 mods we checked.
2 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
24 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
