A survival pack that adds depth while keeping the vanilla feel.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 101 graded mods, 101 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 3 months ago, for Minecraft 26.2. See the mods
Truebound is a vanilla-focused survival modpack that deepens and refines the familiar game without imposing a separate progression path, aiming to support long-running worlds built around farming, building, and exploration. Its terrain is reshaped by Tectonic, with more varied landforms and underground rivers, while ambient audio and surface-specific footsteps add atmosphere to exploration. Visual enhancements include vanilla-style 3D block and item models, animated and improved entity appearances, distinct textures for enchanted books, upgraded interfaces, and optional shader packs. Weather effects such as fog, wind, and sandstorms, along with rain particles and dynamic lighting from held or burning objects, make the environment more responsive and atmospheric. Reworked entity and enemy mechanics, more fluid character animations, realistic item physics, and added water particles provide further detail during everyday play and combat. Quality-of-life changes make enchanting and crafting more visible, streamline villager trading and inventory organization, and add icons to menus and tooltips for clearer navigation. The pack also includes Voxy for rendering terrain at extreme distances and Flashback, which records gameplay for timeline-based replay and cinematic editing.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric, 30 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 101 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 67 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 15 of the 67 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
