A modpack for creative building, exploration, and making things.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 171 graded mods, 93 are graded A or B, 41 C and 37 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.15.2. See the mods
Valhelsia: Origins is a curated, lightweight Vanilla++ modpack centered on creative building and technical play, with a hand-picked selection intended to expand Minecraft without trivializing its existing content. Its landscapes include Atmospheric’s dunes and rosewood forests, Autumnity’s maple forests, expanded swamps and oceans, and the Endergetic Expansion’s alien End biomes. Exploration adds structures and dungeons from Valhelsia Structures, new mineshafts from YUNG’s Better Mineshafts, reworked caves from Worley’s Caves, the secrets of Strange, and the Atum 2 dimension. Builders have hundreds of additional blocks and decorative options from mods such as Block Layering, Scenic, Fairy Lights, Macaw’s mods, and Decorative Blocks, while adventurers can find equipment including backpacks, toolbelts, charms, rings, and pendants. For hands-on crafting, Tetra provides modular weapons and tools with custom compatibility across the pack; Create and Immersive Engineering support factory automation and player-designed contraptions, with Create Integration connecting the two. Magic offers several distinct approaches, from Astral Sorcery and Botania to Druidcraft and Forbidden and Arcanus, while Psi lets players combine magic with technology.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.15.2 · Forge, 11 Dec 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 20 Feb 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 175 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 175 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 133 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
42 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
