About
Default HD 512x brings Minecraft’s familiar default look to high-resolution textures while retaining the original style and pixel designs. Its demo contains a handful of block textures at 512x resolution, with smooth shading and shadows that give the game a shader-like appearance without the performance cost of shaders. The pack also introduces PBR mapping.

Changes 150 block textures, 396 item textures, 341 mob and entity textures, 17 armor textures, 26 paintings, 138 particle textures, 32 status effect icons and 20 other files.
Adds 6 block textures, 37 item textures, 60 mob and entity textures, 1 particle texture and 1 map texture. In OptiFine's formats: 10 connected textures and varied textures for 2 mobs.
Block textures are mostly 512 by 512 pixels. 3 block and item textures are animated.
