Golden Days Alpha is an addon resource pack that gives modern Minecraft an Alpha-inspired look, with the iconic Alpha grass and foliage colors as its defining change. It is designed to be layered over Golden Days Base, which reworks textures, models, lighting, sounds, and interface elements in a retro style while retaining newer gameplay features; the built-in Programmer Art pack is also required. With PolyTone, players can customize details such as classic dyes and bricks, cobblestone and chest styles, beta lighting, bushy leaves, and the End’s appearance, with presets ranging from early beta to late release. Entity Model Features enables additional model changes, including boats and several mobs, while PolyTone also supports options such as custom colors and particles.
Written from Modrinth , CurseForge and the GitHub README . How we write it
Changes 232 block textures, 48 mob and entity textures (Bed, Cushion and Shulker), 2 interface textures, grass and leaf colors and 44 models.
Adds 29 block textures, 88 item textures, 1 interface texture, 2 other files, 4 models and 1 language file. In OptiFine's formats: custom colors. Also has files for 1 other mod: Golden days alpha.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels, up to 32 by 32.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a resource pack cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A resource pack has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
