A friendly yellow sphere named Verity™ that helps you survive, gives tips, and talks like a companion. But after 4 in-game days, everything changes.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 109 graded mods, 88 are graded A or B, 15 C and 6 D to F. Its last update came out 4 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Survive from VERITY or FALSITY is a Minecraft horror experience centered on a floating yellow sphere that initially acts as a helpful companion, offering survival tips, crafting guidance, danger warnings, and conversation. Over the first four in-game days, its dialogue grows stranger, with delayed responses and distorted messages hinting that its friendly behavior is changing. After that shift, the sphere becomes unpredictable: it may mislead the player, manipulate the environment, and trigger unsettling events instead of simply helping them survive.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 9 Jul 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 6 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 109 of its 112 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 101 of its 104 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (9 Jul 2026) in the 87 mods we checked.
6 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
17 mods are not checked yet.
2 mods can use AI in the game.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
