    About

    Moderner Beta brings the terrain and biome generation of older Minecraft releases to modern worlds, extending the original Modern Beta options with generators spanning Infdev and Classic through Beta and releases up to 1.17.1. Its presets recreate distinct generation styles, including Classic 0.0.14a_08, Infdev 20100325, Beta 1.7.3, Beta 1.8, and later release-era worlds, with accurate biome distributions and characteristic climate patterns. Players can also enable noise caves and surface rules, and use options such as large-biome variants, biome previews, and control over whether farlands generate. A graphical settings menu handles common choices, while extensive configuration supports fine control over terrain, biome distribution, and the biome-fractal layer pipeline; its modular design also lets addons contribute configuration options.
