About
Shield Corrections is a resource pack that repairs shield banner-pattern rendering, so custom banner designs can be applied to shields and display correctly. It also lowers shields while they are held or blocking and keeps their appearance consistent between the player’s left and right hands. The pack supports shield patterns and designs from mods including Botania, Additional Banners, Immersive Engineering, Ice and Fire Dragons, Quark, The Twilight Forest, Spartan Shields, and Nyf’s Banner Patterns, among others. Players can choose from Regular and Colored Borders editions, with the latter changing border color to match the banner, and select shield variants; named options include Bamboo, Cherry, Mangrove, Crimson, and Warped. The pack is available for both Java and Bedrock editions.
