Visual Effects+ is a resource pack that changes Minecraft’s atmosphere with dynamic, biome-based colored fog, custom particles, weather effects, reworked skies, and clouds. Its showcased effects include sandstorms, thunderstorms, soulstorms, butterflies, birds, and fireflies, with examples set in places such as the Pale Garden, desert, badlands, swamp, Nether, End, lush caves, and dripstone caves. A configuration screen is available, and the pack uses Polytone for its effects.

In-game changes
Changes 2 interface textures, 1 particle texture, the sun, the moon, rain and snow, 23 models, 8 core shader files and 28 other files.
Adds 3 block textures, 15 mob and entity textures, 51 particle textures, 10 other files and 1 language file. In OptiFine's formats: 17 glowing textures. Also has files for 13 other mods: Davidparticles, Config, Leaves and 10 more.
Block textures are mostly 16 by 16 pixels.
